Sew It! At the Library (Ages 9-12)

Sew your own Comic Book Bag!
Sew a project from start to finish with sewing expert Ellen Lumpkin Brown. This hands-on experience will teach you how to operate a sewing machine and sew a Comic Book Bag for yourself. Have fun working with the “original power tool” -- the sewing machine!

Ms. Brown is a sewing and fashion instructor at M Avery Designs and a visiting instructor at the Newark Museum. She is the author of several books about sewing, a regular contributor to major sewing magazines, and founder of the Doll Loft http://www.thedollloft.com

Limited to 10 participants. We will start at 7pm sharp, so please come early to get your seat.
